Benefits of becoming the real me.
• Having your own framework of right and wrong, and not be bullied into accepting things you do not like.
• More creative energy to pursue professional pursuits and financial goals that you enjoy.
• Being involved in relationships based on the mutual benefit you bring to each other, not a sense of guilt or obligation.
• Having a freer, happier more engaged sense of yourself.
I must say I have found what I believe to be the secret of life. The secret of life resides in being the person you really need to be or finding yourself. I will not deceive you; for me finding out who I am, was the most unbelievably arduous journey that I could ever fathom; spiritually like climbing Mt. Everest. Today I am confident that in excellent, albeit not perfect fashion I have completed a certain phase of the journey.
Having climbed that mountain of my heart and soul, I am humbled, learned much, and I believe I have much to share. Particularly in these uncertain economic and broader political times, I believe more than ever that finding ourselves, becoming the person we must become, is not only our highest calling, but our surest path to a peaceful and successful life.
It is not easy to find yourself, and yet many people I increasingly encounter are on the path to finding themselves, and being the person who they need to be; not accepting unreasonable dictates from external sources, and instead finding their true nature of a productive, happy, and peaceful path by realizing their potential and finding the person they are meant to, and bringing forth natural qualities of care, compassion, and commitment to excellence.
This web-site is dedicated to my sharing and encouraging the process of becoming our true selves to the greater world community. Again, I hear stories and having conquered a mountain myself, I am now prepared gently and lovingly to support and encourage others, either through my work as a mediator www.calminterventions.com or through the intra-personal work that begins on these pages.
I am not sure totally what path this web-site will take, the one thing I am committed to, in addition to telling you a tad about me is to encourage others to share their stories, pursuits and passions with regard to becoming themselves. The blog established has an ideal of becoming a bit of a quilt or sounding board for others to share their stories and receive support and encouragement from others in the midst of finding themselves. I do not know everything, but I do know that finding yourself is the secret to success.
